3. AI-Generated Content and Accuracy

A core feature of Jalories.com is the estimation of nutritional information using Artificial Intelligence (AI) provided by third parties (including Nuabase and various Large Language Models).

    No Guarantee of Accuracy: AI systems can make errors (often called "hallucinations"). The nutritional values (calories, macros) generated for your food entries are estimates only and may not be accurate.
User Verification: You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of any data provided by the Service, especially if you have strict dietary requirements (e.g., diabetes, allergies).
Third-Party Services: We utilize Nuabase as our AI gateway, which connects to providers like Groq, Cerebras, and OpenRouter. We are not responsible for service outages or errors originating from these third-party providers.

  

4. User Accounts

To access the Service, you may be required to create an account via Email or Google OAuth.

Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
Responsibility: You are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
Age Requirement: You must be at least 13 years old to use this Service.

5. User Conduct

Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others.

Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service;
Any content obtained from the Service (including AI-generated nutritional estimates);
Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
